Changing or canceling your order

All orders placed through the website are final once you complete the checkout process. However, we'll do our best to accommodate you if you need to make changes. Please contact customer service within 24 hours from the date of your order.

Sales Tax

Because we are located in New York, all orders shipped to addresses in New York State are subject to 8.375% Sales Tax. Otherwise, there is no tax applied.

Sale Items

* Any discounted or sale CHîa New York merchandise can only be exchanged or credit for CHîa New York e-boutique online store-credit only. It can not be returned.
* Clearance sale items are final, non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We do not offer price adjustments.
* Any exchange of the unused item, in its original condition, with its original packaging, and proof of purchase, within 14 days of your purchase

Sales & Promotions

CHîa New York DOES NOT provide price adjustments and offers various sales and promotions throughout the year.

In-Stock Guarantee

CHîa New York only sells what we have in stock. If for any reason you place an order that we cannot ship immediately, we will contact you right away and provide you with the status on the item, resolve the issue and make you happy!

Delivery of Your Order

Once your credit card is authorized, you will receive a confirmation email from us. In general, you will receive your order within 3 - 10 business days.
Gift packaging is available at Chianewyork.com! For an additional charge of $9.00 most items may be gift packaged in our special gold wrapping paper, gift boxed with a silk bow and card. Call us for details 646.221.0599.

Please allow 3 business days for order processing; from there the majority of orders are shipped immediately if your bag is in stock and available. Orders received on weekends will be processed on Monday. Remember to allow for time in transit, as per your shipping choice. Our business hours are from 09:30 am until 7:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Shipping Methods

We ship all US orders via UPS and offer three shipping options in the 48 contiguous United States (sorry Alaska & Hawaii pay shipping on all orders):
Ground - 5 to 7 business days
2nd day - 2 business days
Next day - Next business day


Please note this time is the actual UPS shipping time, not how long it may take for your order to be ready to ship. Once your order is ready to ship, the shipping time reflects the transportation time it will take for your bag to get to you from us. Retail Customer Return & Exchange Policy We at CHîa New York want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may contact CHîa New York to apply for a return or exchange of the unused item, in its original condition, with its original packaging, and proof of purchase, within 14 days of your purchase.
Please note - all Clearance items are final and subject to limited availability.

Return

We may approve your return and refund the regular purchased price minus restocking fee ($25.00) & shipping charges, typically within 48 hours of our receipt of the returned item. Please note – we only approve your return on the regular price purchased items.

Exchange

Once we receive the item you would like to consider for exchange, and approve the exchange we will send your new order by UPS ground at no additional cost.
Here's what you need to do:
· Email customerservice@chianewyork.com or call 646. 221.0599 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). (We will refuse any returns or exchanges without it.)
· Download the Return & Exchange Request Form (2 pages) . If you are having trouble downloading, please email us at customerservice@chianewyork.com and we can send you a Refund and Exchange Request Form via fax or email.
· You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number in order for us to process your return. Once you have filled out and signed the form you must fax it to 240.246.0205 in order for us to process your requested return or exchange. Pack the bag securely with the copy of your packing list, Returns or Exchanges Request Form and write the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number on the exterior of the box in big print.
· Insure your package for the full value of the merchandise and return it to us using the delivery service of your choice. For speed and security, we recommend UPS/FedEx.
· Send it back to CHîa New York, attn.: Customer Service, 41-39 Forley Street, Elmhurst NY 11373

Please note that no refunds or exchanges will be granted after the two (2) week period has been exceeded. Further, no return will be accepted without the Refund & Exchange Request Form (2 pages). Returns are up to the discretion of CHîa New York, and are accepted providing the item is returned in its original condition.

CHîa New York reserves the right to refuse returns under any of the following circumstances. Under these circumstances, the return will be immediately sent back to the customer and is ineligible for refund:
* The returned item shows signs of use or wear, is damaged, stained, scuffed, scratched, etc.
* The returned item is improperly packaged by the customer (sent back without original or other tissue packaging or sent back in a too-small container). If packaging leads to damage and causes item to become unsellable, CHîa New York will not offer credit or refund.
